Another milestone hit last night as the donations soared over the £2000 mark.  If you include the gift aid amount on top of that, we've raised over £2500 in Ben's memory.  Thank you for your continued donations and support.

I continue to be impressed by the steady flow and generosity of donations.  What has been achieved already is quite simply astonishing.  It's Ben's birthday today and after only two days, we've raised an amazing £1,500.  What a fantastic present and I'm sure he would have been chuffed to bits.

What a fantastic contribution from everyone in the first 24 hours of this page being set up.  This is a true testiment to show the influence Ben had on us all.  There have been some very hearfelt messages left too, which I'm sure Ben's family and those closest to him would appreciate very much.

This just giving page is in loving memory of Ben Hatton.

 

Ben touched the hearts of so many people throughout his short life.  He was a fantastic friend to many and universally respected.

 

Ben was born with heart problems which led on to him needing a pacemaker from the age of 11.  Ben was going to have a scheduled operation to replace his pacemaker for the fourth time on the 07/07/2011.  Devastatingly there were complications and Ben sadly lost his life.

 

Although we will never be able to replace Ben, he will remain in our thoughts forever.  This page has been set up to give the opportunity for people who have been affected by this tragic news and who want to show their appreciation, to donate towards the British Heart Foundation in memory of Ben.

 

I'm sure all of your kind words will be greatly received along with your donations.
