British 10K London Run 2013 · 14 July 2013 ·

Every year we provide care and support to over 6,500 people across South East London, both at home and in the hospice. We passionately believe that everyone should have access to the best care at the end of their lives. We need to fundraise £16 million each year to continue our services

Story

Yes I know 10K is no marathon but for anyone who knows me let's be honest I don't like exercise. My face goes a worrying shade of raspberry and I sweat so much I look like I've just run through a car wash! Having said that while I will happly make a mountain out of any mole hill you care to show me, I'm running for someone who ran their own race fighting cancer with more dignity and grace than I could ever muster. Joanna McArthur was my best mates wife and my very good friend.

St Christopher's Hospice gave Joanna fantastic care and support thoughout her journey and I'm very proud to be raising money for them in Jo's memory. So if you want to help a woefully unfit ginger man raise some money for a great cause then please make a donation.
