Story
Final Time: 2 hours, 2 minutes and 57 seconds, placing 13,387th out of 40,000+ runners on the day.
On 19th September 2010 I will be running the Great North Run in aid of the Multiple Sclerosis Trust along with several of my friends.
Those who visit this page will probably already know I ran the London Marathon earlier this year and raised £4,239 for the same charity. Given the generosity of all my friends and family for the Marathon, my target this time is far smaller.....just £250.
To ensure that you are not totally appalled that I am asking for further sponsorship for half the distance I managed in April this year, the plan for the Great North Run is to run it in fancy dress. Currently this looks set to be in a blow up horse/jockey outfit - which should test my endurance a little. I will make sure a picture is put up as soon as the costume arrives so that you can all see how foolish I look, and perhaps appreciate that this run is not likely to be as comfortable as my others!

Thank you for your continued support for a charity that means a great deal to me.....
