Story
On the 17th of December, we took our daughter to the a&e department at the James Paget Hospital. Following a CT scan, we received the devastating news that our amazing little girl, Anna, who turned two in November, had a significant mass on the brain. We were taken straight to addenbrookes hospital which, following various tests, and a 9 hour operation to remove the mass and acquire a biopsy, it was confirmed that Anna had a malignant brain tumour.
Anna has currently started a course of chemotherapy treatment to follow up on the significant operation that she has already undergone. In the coming days, the inevitable will happen with her starting to lose her hair.
In support of her, so she doesn't feel alone, and in support of the brain tumour charity, both me and my brother will be shaving our hair on the weekend of 17th February.
We hope that the money we can raise will help raise awareness, support other families and, most importantly for us, support earlier diagnosis and further improve on current survival rates.
We hope that you can support us, our daughter and this amazing charity that is so close to our hearts.
