I am fund-raising for Cancer Research UK by stopping smoking. After a number of failed attempts to quit in the past I have decided to do it differently this time....

I am asking for the public's support, and I have created a Facebook page which will provide a daily diary of my progress and how life is as a non smoker!

I am asking for people to sponsor me which is extra motivation for me but also supports the amazing Cancer Research UK on their mission to combat cancer.

My goal is to be smoke free but also to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research UK. I have not set a target amount of money I wish to raise by doing this as ever penny will make a difference.
