Every September 11 BGC Partners hold the annual charity day helping local charities in memory of those lost in the terrible attacks in New York in 2021. 

Make-A-Wish® UK is one of the charities that has in the past visited the office on our charity days and over the past years hearing and seeing what this incredible charity does and the lives it affects is truly heartwarming and I have decided to run the TCS London marathon on Sunday 2nd October 2022. 

I won't lie the training has been slightly sporadic but now that I'm doing this page its making me realise that I have the duty and responsibility to get these miles under my belt because this will be no walk in the park literally! I'm planning to keep you all up to date with my progress and I really hope my family and friends will give generously to this incredible cause. I appreciate many of you get asked regularly for donations but this is the first time I have done anything like this and I will not be deterred from asking you if I see you in the street even if it means carrying a portable card machine!

The background of this amazing charity creates life-changing wishes that revive the childhood that critical illness takes away, bringing light and joy at the darkest of times for a child and their loved ones. But right now, there are 60,000 children in the UK living with a critical condition, and they don’t have the resources to be that light for everyone. Your generous support will help them step closer to achieving their vision: to grant a wish to every eligible child. Together, we have the power to light up the darkness.
