In April 2019, Paul Brooks and I will be running the London Marathon and Adam Thompson will be running the Greater Manchester Marathon. Our marathon training has already started and over the coming weeks and months our weekly mileage will be approx. 50-70 miles. Paul and Adam aim to finish in under 2hr 45 mins and I am going for sub 3 hours.

We are hoping to raise funds to help the PTA purchase new outdoor playground equipment for Ludworth Primary School in Marple Bridge, which all our children attend. 

Ludworth receives less funding than many other local primary schools and Stockport as a whole receives very low levels of funding from the government compared to other areas of the country so raising funds for the PTA will mean the aim of new outdoor play equipment can become a reality much faster. 

Any amount is gratefully received, and will keep us motivated during the gruelling training, so if you can spare a few pounds to motivate us that would be great!
