Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is a progressive condition
diagnosed in childhood. It causes all the muscles in the body to gradually weaken.

There is currently no cure for Duchenne, but there is hope.

After working with Joining Jack I found out that I had a family connection to DMD in that my Great Uncle suffered from this condition and sadly passed away at a young age.

I want to therefore raise funds and mainly awareness of just how common DMD actually is and the impact it has on peoples lives. I am optimistic for the future of this research and together we can work towards finding a cure.
