Ben's Lockdown Challenge: Land's End to John o' Groats virtual bike ride

Ben's Lockdown Challenge: Lands End to John o' Groats virtual bike ride · 18 April 2020
We're in the middle of a mental health crisis, the likes of which have never been seen before. Both in the UK and around the world, people are struggling to come to terms with the rapid changes and uncertainty, resulting in heightened feelings of depression, loneliness and anxiety.
None of us know what a 'new normal' will look like or when it will arrive - and after the pandemic finally abates, there will be many people who have to process the trauma that they have experienced and witnessed.
Right now, organisations specialising in providing mental health support need to receive the necessary funding to offer help when it is needed most.
With that in mind, I'm pledging - during lockdown - to cycle the distance from Land's End to John o' Groats, on my exercise bike, from my living room. That's 1,407km (874m) - a very BIG challenge for me.
I'm doing this to raise vital funds for mental health charity Mind. I am proud to be a Time To Change volunteer champion for Mind and I believe passionately in the work that they do - which is needed now more than ever before.
We have all been hit hard by this ongoing pandemic, but if you can spare even a couple of ££ to support this challenge, it would make a big difference right now. Thank you, and I'll keep you updated!
