The aims of NECCR are to raise money for the continuing vital research into the causes and treatment of Childhood Cancer. Objectives are: Find the causes of childhood cancer and to develop new treatments. Increase the number of children cured of cancer. Make treatment less distressing.

Story

On Saturday September 6th I'll be completing the Coniston End to End, one length of Coniston Water, 5.25 miles, in aid of the North of England Children's Cancer Research Fund and the Good Will Cause.

On June 3rd 2014, one of Reubes' classmates, Will Woods died suddenly after a short battle with a rare and aggressive cancer called childhood Burkitt's Lymphoma.

To celebrate Will's life The Good Will Cause was set up by Will's family and friends in the hope that something positive may come out of such a tragic loss. The primary aim of The Good Will Cause is to raise funds to to support the work of the North of England Children's Cancer Research Fund, one of the country's leading research institutes into childhood cancer, and the people who cared for Will during his short illness.

You can also support the Good Will Cause at: https://www.facebook.com/thegoodwillcause/timeline

I'm hoping to finish the swim in around 4 hours, so please spare 5 minutes to support this very worthwhile cause.

Thanks

Ben
