Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses – who we continually support and develop – provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.

Story

I’ve been saying for ages that as soon as I score my first goal for Stoke City, I’ll get my curls cut short!!

So as a celebration of my goal yesterday against Preston, the barber is booked!

Moments like yesterday are special. My grandad, Stanley Roy Wilmot, sadly passed away in 2016 from Dementia. He was football mad and watched every game that I played in. He would have loved seeing the goal yesterday!

To honour him, I want to raise money for DementiaUK - a terrible disease that affects approximately 900,000 people in the UK.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated and 100% of the donations will be sent directly to DementiaUK to help with continuing research in finding a cure.

Thank you!

Ben
