Ben Wimpory's London Marathon fundraising page in memory of Aaron Wray

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the London Marathon for the Nestle Buxton team on 28th April. I wanted to make fundraising relevant for us in Halifax and am fundraising for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service. This is a charity where over 1,150 volunteers, alongside 5,700 staff provide a vital 24-hour, seven-days-a-week, emergency and healthcare service.
It is this team that first attended to Aaron when he suffered a heart attack.
Currently the charity focus is on cardiac survival as they want people in Yorkshire to have the best possible chance of surviving sudden cardiac failure. In the UK this is one the biggest causes of death, it can happen to anyone anywhere. We know that bystander CPR and access to defibrillation can dramatically increase the chances of successful resuscitation by an ambulance crew.
Any donation you make will help to fund...
Thank you.
