As some of you may know, someone very close to me was diagnosed with cervical cancer back in November. I can say that the news fell like a bomb shell. No one can explain the thoughts that go through a family members or close friends mind when you know that a loved one has the disease.

With a journey of pain and emotion, her psychological strength and determination to push through the heart ache of reccurent bad news, has given the lady a very high chance of recovery. But her actions speak louder then words!!!!!!!!

Physiologicaly, cancer is out of any body's hands. But with the help from some extremely talented Surgens, Oncologists, Radiotherapists, at the ROYAL MARSDEN CANCER HOSPITAL she is now doing rather well.

But help is still needed............... this is where you come in!!!!

Im participating in the IRONMAN 70.3 UK on 14th JUNE 2009. (1.2mile swim, 56miles bike, then 13.1 miles run, half a marathon). This is aid of the following. PLEASE READ!!!

The ROYAL MARSDEN CANCER CAMPAIGN is hoping to raise 15million pounds to build a new centre dedicated to the 900 children, teenagers, and young adults that they already treat. Four new drug development beds to test new anti- cancer agents on site are also on the cards.

SO BASICALLY I WANT YOUR MONEY not only to help my 'little lady', but also the other 899 people that also need such a great help. Come on Ive seen them, and the look and drive of determination that they have to get through such a hard fight i sbreath taking.

BUT YOU COULD MAKE IT EASIER BY HELPING TO RAISE MONEY TO BUILD THIS NEW CENTRE.
