Story
Dear Friends,
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. on April the 16th I will be taking part in a three peak challenge aiming to climb the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales (Ben Nevis, Scafell & Snowdon) in 24hours to raise money for The Cecily Eastwood Zambian Aids Orphans Appeal.
Unfortunately, due to the dates of my University final exams, I have been forced to withdraw from taking part in the full event. However, I am very commited to the cause and have descided to join the team to "rush" up Ben Nevis. To add spice to my part of the challenge, I am going to climb Ben Nevis dressed as Cecily's Fund's guaridan angel! I have named my event "The Ben Nevis Angelic Rush." I hope photographic evidence will prove that I remain angelic throught the challenge!
All the money I will raise will go towards the work of Cecily's fund who are registered with the UK's Charity Commission (no 1071660). The object of the charity is to advance education and relieve poverty, sickness and distress of children in Africa who have lost one or both parents through AIDS. Cecily's fund design and finance programmes to educate Zambian children orphaned by AIDS, which are then implemented by their partners, Zambian non-governmental or community-based organisations. To find out more about the charity, you can visit the web sight at www.cecilysfund.org.
Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Cecily Eastwood Zambian Aids Orphans Appeal will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support. Anstice Oakeshott
