Story

When my wife was diagnosed with a brain tumour it was obviously a massive shock to the family. The Royal Marsdem in Surrey have been fantastic with the medical side of this but Maggies which are on site at the Marsden have been wonderful in the non-medical support they have provided. From simply providing a non hospital place to be between apointments, providing free wifi so I could work while Helen was having treatment to helping us with counceling and practical things like filling out the Government forms that enevitably come from thins kind of diagnosis.
Maggies is a wonderfull place providing really wellcome support to Helen and I in this dificult time. As it happens they also helped my Mum and Dad when he was suffering with cancer, something I only found out when I mentioned Maggies to my Mum when we got Helen's diagnosis.
