As many of you will know, ordinarily, I do not do running. I have however made an exception for an extremely good cause.  My god son Harry, nicknamed 'Bear', is a wonderful little man who has had to deal with a great deal of adversity already in his life. Bear is nearly 2 years old now. He was born 10 weeks premature and spent the first 15 weeks of this life in intensive care, with just a bear for company in his incubator, hence the nick name. Bear is deaf and has just 24% function in 1 kidney, which has given him life.  However, in the near future Harry will require a kidney transplant.  It is for this reason, I know that Harry and the rest of the Bawden family would be very grateful if you would sponsor me in my quest to run 10K on behalf of Harry's charity - Kidney Research UK.
