Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

On Sunday 9th June Ben, David and Isabel are doing the Wiggle Dragon Ride. This is a circular 125km non-competitive road cycle challenge over the beautiful hills and valleys of South Wales, it boasts over 1,875m of climbing. The  course takes in the classic climbs of the Bwlch, Rhigos and Brecon Beacons mountain road. In other words there are lots of hills!!

Sadly these days cancer touches most people's lives. Last year Ben's Dad Chris passed away aged 52 as a result of prostate cancer. Chris was a keen cyclist and we spent many happy hours cycling together particularly in France. This challenge seemed a particularly appropriate way to raise funds in Chris's memory.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. One in eight men will get prostate cancer and every year more than 10,000 men in the UK die of prostate cancer. Prostate Cancer UK is the leading prostate cancer charity funding research, providing support and raising awareness.
