Along side planning a wedding and moving house I'm taking part in the Race to the Base in support The Great North Air Ambulance Service which provides world-class, critical care across the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. Their doctor-led critical care team delivers life-saving treatments at the scene of an incident whether that is on a fell top, a roadside or in a city centre. The charity responded to over 1,600 emergency call-outs last year*, where they performed treatments and procedures which can mean the difference between life or death.*2021
