I have been fortunate enough to gain a place in the London Marathon and am honoured to be raising money for the Centre for Mental Health. 

The Centre for Mental Health is an independent charity which changes people’s lives across the UK by ensuring people get the right help at the right time for their mental health.

The Centre puts evidence into practice to bring about better services for people’s mental health, discover the biggest inequalities and gaps in services and find practical ways of getting better help to those who need it most.

• Helping to get people with mental health problems into employment
• Enable families and schools to protect and promote children’s mental health
• Ensuring that help for mental health is available to people in hospitals and GP surgeries

At least one in four people in the UK will experience a mental health problem every year. One in ten children have a mental health problem, but three-quarters of these children don’t receive any support.

Centre for Mental Health strives to create a healthier and fairer society by ensuring that no one misses out on the help they need for their mental health.
