As a gay man living with HIV for many years, I want to ensure as many people as possible are aware of some really amazing developments in HIV treatment and prevention and to reduce stigma across the community.
Did you know that out of 77,000 condomless sexual encounters Between gay men where one partner had an ‘Undetectable HIV Viral Load’ ZERO cases of HIV being transmitted occured!? (Source AIDS 2018 conference Amsterdam 24th July 2018).

HIV is a serious condition, but with the amazing care and support of our beloved NHS anyone living with HIV now in the UK are likely to live as long, if not longer, than those without. Our cancers will be discovered earlier, our overall fitness and wellbeing will be monitored regularly and the medication we take will make it impossible for us to infect or pass on the virus. I want to reassure everyone that HIV is neither scary nor a burden for those of us that have it.
I also want to run as part of my recovery from Chemsex and Crystal Meth addiction, to show my support and love to all those men struggling with tina right now in our community. Instagram #RealClearQueer
Love and wish me luck!
