Story

06-Jul: Andover to Woolacombe Bike Ride In Memory of Beni

In early July, 2 teams will set off to cycle the 145 miles between Andover, Hampshire and Woolacombe in Devon, in aid of Naomi House and in memory of my little boy, Beni Hall-Cooper.

Beni was born with an unknown neurological disorder and in December 2012, at the age of 18 months he died unexpectedly. The Naomi House hospice was always there to support us as a family - to provide: respite support, fantastic facilities (sensory rooms, swimming pool, play areas), end-of-life care and bereavement support. Their services are essential for familes of children with life-limiting conditions.

Team 1, consisting of Jon and Jo Turner will cover the distance in relays over 2 days, finishing on Sat, 6th July. Team 2 will complete the disatance in 1 day on the 6th, hopefully meeting up with team for the final legs into Woolacombe. Team 2's intrepid cyclists will be: Jamie Beeson, Brevin Beeson, Martin Roper, Chris Walker, Steve Smith, Wayne Hoyle, Rhys Edwards and myself, Stuart Hall-Cooper.
