Million Makers Challenge · 18 June 2019

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

For a second year, Citrix has taken on the enormous challenge to support The Prince’s Trust charity.  From our HQ in Paddington TeamTrix2019 are raising funds to help support vulnerable 11-30 year-olds across the UK who are struggling in some way to achieve in life.  Together with us all, The Prince’s Trust believes …

“…. you have the talent to achieve anything you want to in life”.

Too many of the UK’s young people are in the care system, facing issues such as homelessness or mental health difficulties.  Too many, left to their own devices, without steer are/have been in trouble with the police, facing criminal charges to last a lifetime.  So far the Trust has helped 870,000 young people since 1976 and supports over 100 more each day. Over the last 10 years alone, they have returned £1.4 billion in value to society and they plan to help another 1 million people in the next 10 years.

We believe we have the energy and the support in our individual networks to achieve the extraordinarily to help support them. We need your help to do this!!

Starting at 9am on November 26th  TeamTrix2019 will begin a 56hr Static Bike Ride in Paddington. I will be participating as part of the team and as a collective we will be cycling through the day and night until 5pm on Thursday 28th November.

I will be doing the the Night Shift from 8pm - 8am! As you can imagine this is an enormous undertaking and we ask for your support to see us through.

Grateful for as much as you can spare, please text donate to; or our Justgiving pages.

We really can’t do this without you. Together we can change young lives.”
