Hackney Half Marathon 2021 · 26 September 2021 ·

Approximately 700,000 children in England rely on the support of social workers each year. We create social change for these children by developing excellent social work practice, leadership and innovation through our programmes, and a movement of leaders in social work through our Fellowship.

Story

Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page!

A group of us are running the Hackney Half Marathon to support the amazing work that the social work charity Frontline does! We range from complete novices to running veterans, but we all have the same level of passion for supporting Frontline’s mission to create social change for families and children.

Throughout the pandemic, social workers have been working tirelessly on a daily basis to support vulnerable children and their families by carrying out crucial home visits and doing direct work with children and young people.

The pandemic has negatively impacted these families and children more than most and the effects will be long lasting. The need for excellent social work is greater than ever. Frontline is doing incredible work to ensure that no child’s life chances are limited by their family or social circumstances, so please do give what you can and support the charity with us.

We’re so excited to run the race and hit our fundraising target of £1,500. Thank you so much for your support!
