Story
I literally haven't run a single step since the London Marathon, but it's the world aids day REDRUN on behalf of PositiveEast tomorrow...
It's going to be BLOODY FREEZING!
Also, I'm off to Homostash tonight.
So please donate.
Or come to Vicky Park tomorrow to point and laugh! (Bring me Baileys Hot Chocolate!)
LONDON MARATHON BLURB:
As a HIV+ man living in East London I'm am extremely grateful for all the developments in HIV care that ensure I can live a long, meaningful and healthy life.
However, I am also so acutely aware of the enormous support still needed within our community from organisations like Positive East. As we re-open society following this second pandemic of our lifetimes, the HIV pandemic continues to affect peoples mental, physical and social wellbeing.
Positive East do an incredible work supporting 4000 people with services such as counselling, support groups, their advice line and health and wellbeing programme as well as delivering free HIV/STI tests in East London.
From crazy events and parties to an online raffle with some truly amazing prizes let's have as much fun as possible, before all laughing at my pain on the 3rd October. Almost two years to the day since I said "NEVER AGAIN," having run a half marathon for Terrence Higgins Trust.
MASSIVE THANKS to the team at Positive East for this opportunity.
