Mission Helping Hands is a not-for-profit organisation that provide practical, on the ground assistance in South West Uganda through local links and known ministries. The vision behind Mission Helping Hands is Christian and aims to demonstrate the Gospel through acts of practical love and care. Lives are being changed! 

Mothers Union (MU) Vocational Centre trains 20-30 girls each year in practical skills – knitting, sewing, computer & crafts. We also have a Salon teaching hairdressing skills, giving them a hope & a future. We have built a hostel for the girls to stay & provided beds, mosquito nets, washrooms, sola panels for light.

Our next project for the centre is to complete the kitchen ((£2,000), renovate the rest of the building, decorate, tiles on the floor etc (£1,250) Eco toilets (£300) incinerator for girl’s pads (£400), providing better facilities to improve the learning environment making it safer & fit for purpose. 

Burema Secondary School / Bishops Primary School

We support these schools providing amongst other things life saving Mosquito nets. 

We sponsor several orphans for their education & supply their needs through individuals. Leigh St Marys Primary twins with Bishops & they sponsor Doreen.
