Hello everyone!!

Myself and Jon have committed to take part in this amazing opportunity to be able to raise some much needed money for the Alzheimer's Society !!

We have now started training (eventually!) to get ourselves to be fit and ready to join hundreds of other trekkers including another family member and her friends to travel up to Scotland and complete a trek up to the peak of Ben Nevis on 8th July 2022!

Alzheimer's is the most common type of dementia, and as many of you know this is something very current and very close to the hearts of us all due to having multiple family members and people close to us who are currently affected or have been affected by some form of dementia.

We are witnessing first hand the terrible effects and feel like we just want to take on a challenge basically as an excuse to raise much needed funds to support these charities!!! (Plus we hope it might encourage us to get off our backsides and get a bit fitter haha!!)

We both have to raise a minimum total of £300 each to take part in this trek! So.......thats £600 minimum in total required!! (Lets hope my walking skills are as good as my maths skills eh!)

We would be so grateful if you could find it in your hearts and pockets to donate towards raising some money for this charity and we promise to keep you updated on our progress and share in our success of reaching the top of Ben Nevis!!

Cannot wait to take in those views, get lots of selfies and raise some money so together we can find a cure!!!!!
