On Friday July 8th myself and my partner have committed to take part in a trek up Ben Nevis to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. Whilst I'd be much more comfortable climbing Ben Nevis on my trusty mountain bike I'm looking forward to the challenge of prepping for and trekking up the UK's highest mountain,  the trek back down not so much given my given the dodgy disk in my back !

Alzheimer's is the most common type of dementia and, as some of you may know , both myself and my partner have a parent suffering from Alzheimer's witnessing first hand what a debilitating and cruel disease this can be.

I/we would be very grateful if any of you could spare any donation, no matter how small, towards this charity/cause that sadly effects so many.
