Story
A bunch of generally unfit and office bound warriors from Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara will take on the challenge of scaling the highest peak in the UK! On 03 July the team will set off on the 4,450 feet climb, taking 26,000 steps each over 8 hours. Our goal, is to get everyone (including the southern softies) to the top. So we made it! Weather of biblical proportions would not stop our team of hardy explorers making it to the top of the highest peak in the world . . . . .sorry, the UK!
A little bit about Family Holiday Association: We help families struggling in really tough situations to get a much-needed break or day out. Families like Sophie's...Sophie, aged 12, is the main carer for her mum Ruth, who is registered disabled. Sophie is a resilient person, but being a young carer is putting enormous strain on her own mental and physical health.We helped Sophie and Ruth to visit the seaside, and Sophie was able to run around and play, and feel like a child again. This brief respite helped them create long-lasting happy memories to draw on when times get tough.
