Help support unpaid carers now when they need us most

The essential support to family and friends provided by over 6.5 million unpaid carers is so often invisible to others. Carers save the state £132 billion a year - the same as the cost of the NHS - and now more than ever they need our help.

Carers UK Helpline service is currently overwhelmed.

Social distancing, and worse, social isolation, means that carers are desperately trying to get information, support and advice, knowing that if they are unable to provide care nobody else will. Carers UK urgently need to continue to increase their Helpline capacity to be able to answer more calls and emails from carers.

For my challenge, I will be aiming to cycle at least 806 miles, 26 miles on 31 days of the month
