Ben is breaking himself (again) for Amelia · 25 January 2023

A six-year-old girl who faced life in a wheelchair is achieving her dream of walking her little sister into school. Amelia-Rose underwent pioneering surgery, and from your donations, is on the road to walking for the rest of her life.

Story

So here we go again!

I am raising money for my amazing little girl who inspires on a daily basis.  Her progress from having her operation is amazing and she finds new things to do on a daily basis.  However the post op physio comes at a great cost (around 8k a year).  To keep the progress we need help.  The NHS will not fund any physio for her and even when they do Amelia says its just not helping.

This year I plan on breaking myself by entering a few more walks and maybe add a few more challenges on the way.  At time of writing the plan for this out of shape Dad is:

  1. Winter Walk (London) 28th Jan 40km
  2. Easter 50 (Windsor) 1st Apr 50km
  3. Isle of Wight 29th-30th April 106km
  4. London 2 Brighton 27th-28th May 100km
  5. Cotswold Way 24th-25th June 100km
  6. Thames Path 9th-10th Sept 100km

Please can you spare just a few pounds to help Amelia continue her quest for independence.  Every little bit really does help.
