UPDATE: 11th MAY
It's done. I managed to run the Bristol 10K. It took me 1h05mins, which isn;t a great time if you're into running, but I was aiming for 1h10mins so I'm happy. It's something to build on... It was a great site to see all the red Love Running T-Shirts with loads of people cheering us all on. As off yesterday we had collectively raised over £50,000 so we're really close to our £60,000 target. It felt great to be part of something that can make such a huge difference to people and to complete what has been an enormous personal challenge. And it was a lovely sunny day too! I even got in the Evening Post! Thanks to everyone that has donated - I'm really grateful for your support.
UPDATE: 27th APRIL
I'm just back from a run. I enjoyed it! Lovely evening, down by the docks, sunset. And the thought that the effort (although tonight it felt more like a pleasure) is helping raise money to provide support for terminally ill people in Bristol, to stop people dying of cholera in Zimbabwe and to help vulnerable women escape the sex industry in Bristol. You may have also noticed that I've upped my target again. Up to £1000 now. So far I'm top fundraiser out of the 300 people running as part of LoveRunning and would love to stay at the top. I'm never going to run the fastest or win the race, but I could raise loads of money for the three charities that are changing peoples lives.

UPDATE: 25th APRIL
As you can see I've reached my newly updated fundraising target! Please don't let that stop you making a donation as the charities I am running for still desperately need your support.
The training is still going well. I feel moderately confident of being able to complete the course running all the way!
BACKGROUND INFO:
I need your support! I'm planning to do something out of character on May 10th this year. I'm going to run (or at least run / walk) the Bristol 10Km. I wouldn't normally do something like this, but it's a great opportunity to raise some hard cash for some really brilliant charities.Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
