Drew and Anna joined about 750 runners wearing gorilla costumes during the Great Gorilla Run on Saturday  September 27 in London.  It was a  world record recorded for the most people gathered together dressed in gorilla suits and equals the mountain gorillas left in the world ! The charity run  covered 7km and  Anna & Drew completed the race in 500th place in a joint time of 64 minutes - more of a leisured jog than an out and out run. The Gorilla Organisation raises money to go towards gorilla conservation in Rwanda. The National Geographic Magazine July 2008 edition has an article on mountain gorilla and highlights the impact of conflict on their population.
