A mile a day in February · 1 February 2021

At ZSL, we work to restore wildlife by protecting critical species, restoring ecosystems, helping people and wildlife live together and inspiring support for nature. But we cant do this without your support. Please join our fight for wildlife today.

Story

My students on Level 2 Health & Social Care & Early Years  at Guildford College are fundraising to help ZSL London & Whipsnade Zoos stay open, by walking at least one mile every day for the month of February to help care for their animals and continue ZSLs global conservation work. The coronavirus crisis has forced ZSL London and Whipsnade Zoos to close for months, and with limits on visitor numbers when they are open to keep everyone safe, the Zoos are as endangered as some of the beautiful animals they care for and help protect around the world. As a charity, ZSL relies on funds from supporters and visitors. Animal lovers keep them going! By donating, you can help secure the future for their iconic Zoos and the 20,000 animals that live in them, and help ZSL continue its work to save endangered wildlife around the world.Every gift really does make a difference to the animals and the dedicated staff caring for them. Together we can continue to inspire and share a love of animals, and work together towards a future where wildlife can thrive. Any donation, however big or small, will help go towards this urgent crisis and will be greatly appreciated.
