In March 2017 my wonderful brother Paddy was given the devastating news that he had terminal cancer.  In his 51 years he was a much loved son, husband, brother and uncle. He battled his disease with dignity and some humour along the way. I was lucky to have such an amazing big brother who took care of me from the minute i was born, as were my children who Paddy adored.  In April 2018 Paddy was admitted to the NI Hospice where he was cared for in his last weeks by the most amazing docotors, nurses and volunteers. We, his family were given the support we needed as Paddy slipped away from us on 19th May 2018. I am eternally grateful for everything the NI Hospice did for Paddy and our family and this is why I haven chosen to raise funds for them.
