As a company Protec are continuously raising money for Pendleside Hospice. A Charity we have become a patron of. This charity is close to home and completes some amazing work for the community, so we are giving them something back!

Pendleside exists to promote and enhance quality of life for people with life-limiting illnesses, their families and carers; by delivering specialist and holistic palliative care, which addresses their individually assessed physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs.

We have  had the 'great' idea of challenging ourselves and others to complete the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge, a 24.5 mile (yes the .5 is very important!) walk whilst reaching the summit of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-Ghent. With a total elevation gain of other 5000ft this is no mean feat.

I am completing this with my sister as well as a lot of Protec employees, and have been completing lots of training walks in the hope of being able to do this
