My cousin Bethaney, who will be travelling to Peterlee from Los Angeles, USA, and I are going to be taking part in a sponsored walk from Peterlee to Durham on Tuesday, August 5th 2014 to raise money and awareness of Macmillan nurses. 

Recently we have been reminded how important the work that the Macmillan nurses do when my friends Mam and Grandma became very ill with cancer so we are taking part in this walk to raise money for the nurses in memory of my Dad, Bethaney's uncle who lost his battle with cancer in 2003 and in honour of Sonya's Mam and Heather's Grandma who is currently fighting cancer. So please give anything you can, every little helps.
