Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My #TwoPointSixChallenge is to hula for a solid 26 minutes. I’m not sure if this is all that bright of an idea, but it will be worth it if I can reach my goal of raising £80.00 to go towards my chosen charity, which is The Wave Project.
The Wave Project are an incredible not-for-profit that provide surf therapy for young people, aimed particularly at those suffering with mental health disorders. Their early mission statement, then as now, was to enable young people who are struggling to prove to themselves that “I can do it!”
Last year I started volunteering with The Wave Project, and have seen firsthand the positive impact that getting in the sea, having a surf and having fun with friends in the water can make on a child’s mental health.
I have included a link to The Wave Project website below if you would like to know more about the brilliant work they do with young people up and down the country.

Sadly due to the current UK Coronavirus situation, the Wave Project sessions that usually begin this time of year are not able to go ahead. I still want to show my support through this difficult time and help The Wave Project by raising some money to help them continue to change lives through surfing. I would really appreciate your help.
If you are able to contribute even just a small amount, I would be forever grateful, and you would be helping to support a brilliant cause during an uncertain time for the charity.
I will be completing my 26 minute hula-hooping sesh on Sunday 26th April, and (will likely regret this) i’ll be broadcasting it via Instagram live! Tune in to see my tomato face - no screenshots please 🍅
