We raise money to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

Story

Bernie was a remarkable woman. She was both a wonderful wife to Geoff and a loving sister to Sue; she was the best mother imaginable to Alex, Rosie and Lizie, and indeed, to the hundreds of girls and boys she inspired and cared for at Benenden and The King's School, Canterbury.

Bernie fought breast cancer for many years with indomitable spirit and incomparable good humour. She smiled to the last and left us on her terms, proving that she in the end has won. It is with her humanity and her strength in mind that we request donations to this more than worthy cause. It is a cause that fortified and inspired her as the battle grew harder and, ultimately, allowed her those precious few years more for which we are so grateful.
