Story
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.
Following taking part in a Coast to Coast charity cycle race last year I have decided to go one (in fact many steps) further by attempting to climb Kilimanjaro to raise funds for the children’s charity Coco.
Coco is a wonderful organisation, founded by Olympic athlete Steve Cram, carrying out some amazing work for children in Africa and all round the world. Take a look at www.coco.org.uk to get just an idea of some of the work they are doing. It is the fantastic work this charity does that has made me decide to spend my 40th birthday climbing the highest mountain in Africa.
I’ve got a lot of training to do to get ready for the trip with many hours of climbing ahead of me. Nothing will help my motivation more than the knowledge that the sponsorship money raised will help improve the lives of some very needy children around the world.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig as deep as you can and donate now. Every £1 will make a difference; a £100 will pay for a child’s education for two full years!
Thanks for your support.
