Story
On the 3rd of January 2019, my beautiful niece Freya was sadly born asleep. My family were devastated by this news as was I, there wasn't anything that anyone could do. It was a heartbreaking time and it still is, the pain of losing a baby never goes away. The only thing that we could do is be there for Freya's mum & dad, to support them during & after the tough time... we will always be there for them.
Now, I want to do a little extra to help other families who have lost a baby...no one should have to go through the experience but it unfortunately happens and it is really important to have the right services available to people when they need support.
"I never got the chance to know my niece but she will always be in my heart"
I will be taking on a sponsored cycle and a trampoline challenge in loving memory of Freya to raise funds for SiMBA. SiMBA supports people who have lost a baby at any stage of pregnancy or after birth, the charity provides memory boxes, hospital rooms, support groups and much more. All of these small things make a big difference and the funds that I raise will be going towards these precious little memories.
I will be doing my cycle on the 13th of October 2019, I'm going to cycle for 5 miles in Glasgow PLUS the day after my cycle I will be taking on a trampoline challenge- 100 bounces for Freya! As I have Cerebral Palsy, this is going to be a big challenge but I am going to do it
Any donations how ever small or big will be GREATLY appreciated
Thank you so much for the support, bring on the challenges!
For our angel Freya 🌹
