Dear friends and reluctant followers alike,

In these times wherein we find ourselves at home rather more than we might be used to, we must do our best to keep each other amused. With that in mind, and in the spirit of spring, I have decided that I will shave what remains of the hair on my head completely off. Wet-shaved to the skin, much like a billiard ball. And I shall do this LIVE on Instagram.

If any of you feel that this is not only worthy of a laugh, but also of a few shekels, I shall be donating all proceedings to Maggie’s, a superb charity that, through its many beautiful centres, provides sanctuary for people with cancer and their families – wonderful support, good advice and breathing space away from the harsh lighting and sterile monotony of a hospital ward.
