Story
I am running Exeter's Great West Run to raise funds in honour of my daughter Lily- Rose and all the little princesses that suffer from Rett Syndrome. Rett Syndrome is a neurological disorder that strikes little girls around the time of their first birthday and ends their parents hopes and dreams for their future. Rett Syndrome affects nearly every aspect of these girls lives; taking away their ability to walk, talk and use their hands.
-Many girls have problems with breathing and eating. Many have seizures.
- These girls are trapped in a body that cannot obey signals from the brain.
- There is no cure for Rett Syndrome. But there is hope. In 2007 the condition has been reversed in the lab.
With your help we can speed treatments and a cure for Rett Syndrome.
