Beryl Howgate is raising money for Sense

Getting my hair off. · 1 September 2020

Sense is here to support disabled people from the first weeks of life through all the major milestones of adulthood. Over 70 years, we’ve built extensive knowledge and expertise in supporting disabled people with complex needs, including deafblind people.

Story

I'm Beryl Howgate, Sept 1981 I had a near fatal car accident when medical technology wasn't what it is today, having defied death I had to relearn basic life skills, reading, writing, walk, talk, smell, taste which took some time.

Due to the pandemic, I'm restricted, so the easiest way is to ask people to sponsor me to lose my crowing glory, which will be hard thing to do because I'm vain, plus the cold weather is coming, but getting my hair off is short term, loss of sight and disabilities are life changing! sending love of life to you all..
