Since 1993, we have impacted the lives of over 250,000 people living in hard-to-reach communities in rural Nepal. We have built or renovated nearly 200 earthquake resilient schools, creating safe and inclusive learning environments. Our other projects include community health and sanitation projects.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As a team we aim to raise 2000 pounds to support the 2018 phase of the Deaf Nepal Expedition whereby we aim to travel to Nepal to help improve the education and quality of life of the Deaf Nepalese children and community

We are both fluent in British Sign Language users
Christian is profoundly Deaf and BSL is his first language
Beth is a trainee interpreter with level 6 BSL

With both of us coming from a majority Deaf family we have grown up with the language and culture Deafness provides and have fully submerged ourselves within the Deaf community since a very young age.

Being from a supportive majority Deaf family we realise how fortunate we are as others, such as the Deaf children of Nepal do not have such luxuries as Deaf awareness, this is our main focus for wanting to give back and the idea behind our involvement in this programme.

Any and all donations, big or small are very appreciated
Big Thank You!
