Story
I think it's safe to say everyone has been affected by mental health. Whether its friends/family or you personally.
I have had someone very close to me pass away due to suicide in 2013 and tragically last year we lost my friend Ruby's dad, after a 5 week period which friends, family, local community and total strangers rallied round to help search for him. It was a heartbreaking time and the main reason why we're all coming together to raise money for a great cause.
I'm hoping to raise £200 for them this spring by running/climbing/swimming/being electrocuted (yes, there's an actual obstacle for that) through Tough Mudder 5k, with a team of friends who all understand how important protecting mental health is. As someone who doesn't go to the gym, can't run further than 1k without struggling and can't lift their own body weight, Tough Mudder is going to be hard (hoping the team will be able to carry me through)!
I'd be beyond grateful if you'd consider donating the cost of a pint in London (one thousand pounds) to help Mind continue with their incredible work and, more importantly, make our physical suffering worthwhile.
Thank you.
