Some of you may or may not be aware that my beautiful, kind and caring mum passed away on Friday 13th March from advanced dementia. She had just turned 58. 

Losing a loved one at any time is hard. But losing a loved one during a pandemic is horrendous. That's why I've decided to sign up to the Alzheimers Step Up Challenge to give me something to focus on during this awful time. 

I will be walking/running 850,000 steps (in my home) within 3 months (24th March - 23rd June) - the same number of people currently with Dementia in the UK.

I know times are extremely tough for everyone at the moment so any donation big or small will be greatly appreciated and will make a difference.
