Great North Run 2021 · 12 September 2021 ·

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

When we found out Zac had pancreatic cancer, I know we all wanted to beat it together. He was incredibly positive but gradually got worse and passed away in August 2019. I wanted to do something for him whilst he was still here, but couldnt decide what. I thought doing the Great North Run would be incredibly difficult (I am no runner!) And I wanted to raise money for a cancer that is so hard to detect. If you are able to, please donate. In loving memory of Paul "Zac" Simm.
