OPAL ( Oldham personal advocacy ltd) is a charity based in cheshire which helps reduce social isolation and loneliness in children and people with a mental / learning condition . It does this through visits, activities and events that aim to increase their ability to use socialise and provides the opportunity for these people to learn from each other and create a better learning atmosphere for them. We are supporting OPAL as part of our NCS social action project so are also running fundraising events (book/ craft sale) in Macclesfield. OPAL requires £150 to function for a week so even small donations have an impact so all donations are greatly appreciated.
