Over the past 5 years, Naked Truth has done some extraordinary and ground-breaking work across the U.K. and it has been a total joy and privilege to serve as part of the core team down in Manchester for the past 3 years but, having moved back up to Scotland and now with a toddler, we were unsure as to how things would pan out. 

I am very excited to announce that I have taken up a brand new role within the team which will enable me to specifically serve Scotland by creating new content, investing in local churches, equipping and training leaders on how to tackle this issue in their communities and delivering materials in Scottish schools and churches.

Looking back at my own personal painful and complicated struggles with pornography, I can’t believe that I sit here today in freedom. I count it an absolute privilege to be a part of a team that is tackling this issue from many different angles. I look at all of the programmes that Naked Truth offer to couples and families, in schools, in churches, and to individuals and can see how much I would have benefitted from engaging in one of our programmes. The work that Naked Truth offer is invaluable in preventing the pain that pornography brings but also in helping hurt people heal…..

My new role as ‘Scotland co-ordinator’ for Naked Truth Project has already begun in a voluntary capacity but I now need your help to raise the funds that we’ll need for me to continue and grow Naked Truth in Scotland. To kickstart our fundraising and to raise awareness of my new role across Scotland, I am going to be running the Scottish Half Marathon in Edinburgh on 22nd September  (slightly terrifying considering I hadn't run in over 4 years until 2 months ago..)! 

My goal is to raise £100 per km of the race (a total of £2,100) and I am looking for people who could sponsor some of this distance! Could you sponsor 1/4km, 1/2km or even a whole kilometre?

My goal is to run 21 km. My hope is to raise £2,100.
