The Light The Lakes event sees teams of police officers, staff, retired officers and police friends light up the famous Wainwright fells of Cumbria in memory of colleagues killed. Jack and I will be climbing to support COPS (Care of Police Survivors) who relentlessly work to provide peer support and access to counselling services to help surviving family members rebuild their shattered lives. They have helped hundreds of police families devastated by the loss of a loved one who died on duty.

Jack and I will be joining Light the Lakes 2022 because we’re passionate about seeing families supported in times of crisis and bereavement. We consider this support that is offered by COPS as an essential part of care for those that are keeping the country safe. We are so excited to join the others climbing representing Staffordshire police and many other police forces.
